5-tert-Butyl-2-methoxybenzoic acid - Introduction
The acid is an organic compound whose chemical formula is C12H16O3.
Its properties are as follows:

Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform and other organic solvents
Ni acid is mainly used in organic synthesis reactions and drug synthesis. It can be used as a reagent and catalyst for the synthesis of other organic compounds, commonly used in the preparation of dyes, drugs and polymer materials.
The method for preparing tert-butyl acid is generally through a Grignard reaction between benzoic acid and tert-butyl magnesium bromide to obtain tert-butyl benzoic acid, and then react with methyl formate to obtain the target product through ester exchange.
Regarding safety information, acid should be kept away from fire and high temperature. Appropriate protective equipment such as goggles, gloves and laboratory coats should be worn during handling. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and respiratory tract, if accidentally contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water. If necessary, it should be operated in a well-ventilated area.
